milo is sick (not the good part) which led to him waking up at 6 am (still not the good part), after which i transferred him to my bed and snuggled him up in my blankets and he fell asleep there until 8 am. and i was so over the moon happy to have him snuggled up to me that i couldn't fall back asleep.
i started off my morning (once milo woke up and we got out of bed) with a massage, that was extremely unpleasant during, but most wonderful after the fact. (see also: getting out stress knots is a painful and grueling process but the results are worth it)
i bought new lipstick and the perfect blue nail polish (as seen in this picture)
i also bought a new shirt, sweater, and dress (trying not to feel guilty about spending $70 but it's ok it's gonna be ok)
read 'eat, pray, love' instead of marathoning gilmore girls (not that that is a bad thing, but i always feel much more accomplished and more productive when i choose to read during my free time, plus resolutions are a thing)
STUCK WITH MY MEAL PLAN/DIET/WHATEVER THE HECK IT IS and didn't binge eat or think about pizza too much.
cooked spinach and pepperjack cheese stuffed chicken and fried up some squash and dang it looks so good (haven't eaten yet, but SOON)
successfully braided hair into a side braid (this seemed important)
downloaded just dance 2015. we're gonna start doing it tonight. the goal is 30 mins every night, monday-friday. it's not like "exercise" but it is better than eating ice cream and binge watching parks and rec. SO I FEEL GOOD.
life is about choices and i'm so happy with mine today.
